Year-one government fees

What RAKEZ costs in year one.

The cheapest package that fits one activity and one shareholder, on a co-working desk.

Government and authority fees only, paid directly to the authority. Change of status is inside the package. No hidden costs.

The licence package

Visas: Desk packages cover up to four visas. Five to eight are quoted on request.
Activities: Up to ten on one licence. Biz Saver One is one activity.
Shareholders: Up to fifty. Biz Saver One is one shareholder.
Licence issued: 5 minutes to 24 hours.

Choose the one-visa package with care
Biz Saver One cannot be upgraded later. If you expect a second shareholder or a second activity within the year, Biz Saver Plus One is the safer buy.

The multi-year saving
Paid three years upfront: AED 15,300 on BIZ 0 and AED 32,400 on Biz Saver One, against AED 6,000 and AED 12,000 for a single year.

Decide the Manager at formation
The visa authority issues only a General Manager visa to the person named Manager on the licence. If you want an investor visa, name someone else as Manager when the company is formed.

Warehouses and VAT
Warehouse units at Al Hamra start at 200 square metres and are priced separately, with rent rising 3 per cent a year. Certain RAKEZ industrial districts are VAT Designated Zones; we confirm the district on the lease.
